We'll be watching: Handmaiden (2016) at 5:30pm on a large screen, with enough seating for 60 guests.

There will be an introduction and the movie will be followed by a short discussion, after which there will be dedicated play time for those who want to explore the space.

Water bottles will be offered free of charge.

Feel free to bring snacks, beverages or 420 to share. Smoking in our private patio or 2nd floor balcony only.

No alcohol.

Our Bonfire Rope Social is a relaxed open time and space dedicated to rope, practice, education & socialization and fun for everyone.

Rope Socials are designed with no set criteria or formal lesson plan. Single, partnered, beginner or advanced socials offer great opportunities to meet others, peer share, discuss, educate and learn from each other.

The paid parking on Dockweiler beach stops letting cars in at 10pm. Please plan on arriving well before 10pm, since there's usually a LONG line of cars on the way in. We recommend using Uber/Lyft if you'll be arriving after 830pm.

We'll be on the beach by the firepits that are located at the second parking lot, to the right after you enter the beach coming off Imperial Highway and Vista Del Mar. Uplifting psytrance, house and techno will be played on our in-house designed and tuned portable sound system. Red / green / blue laser effects will be projected onto the sand, this should make finding us easier when you're walking onto the beach from the parking lot. Look for us to the right of lifeguard tower 52 when you're facing the ocean.

Synthetic or cotton rope are recommended for this event as they can be washed. Unless you don't mind sand on your jute and hemp rope :]

We'll be firing up the bonfire BBQ and will offer burgers, hotdogs and water to our guests at no charge :] Other foods to put on the grill are welcome!

Things you may want to bring:

• Rope if you have your own

• Blanket to tie or chill on

• Comfortable clothing for rope

• Warmer clothing for the later evening hours

• Aftercare needs

• Anything you feel you may need

• Safety shears

• LED light lantern 🏮 for atmosphere

• Fire wood if you have some to spare

Greetings, rope aficionados!

Valentine's Day class will focus on wax play, and incorporating it into your rope secnes. This class will be held at our spacious 4,000 square foot LB Shibari Dojo in Long Beach.

Whether you are a complete newcomer to shibari or have some prior experience, our classes offer a welcoming and supportive environment for all skill levels. Come and discover the beauty and cultural richness of shibari as you explore your creativity and sensuality.

Cost: Cash prices $50 per tying pair / $25 per person. Venmo/Cashapp prices: $60 per tying pair / $30 per person.

CLASS START TIME IS 8:00PM. DOORS OPEN AT 7:40PM FOR CHECK-IN. PLEASE TRY AND ARRIVE ON TIME AND HELP US STAY ON SCHEDULE.

The classes are designed for partnered learning, and attendees should plan on attending in pairs.

During each class advanced and intermediate students are able to hone their skills with our advanced study group.

Things you should bring:

• Low temp candles that are safe for wax play (we'll have some on sale too)

• Floor tarp for the wax play

• Yoga mat, exercise tiles or a thick rug to tie on. Floor is concrete, we will have enough exercise tiles for a dozen tying pairs on hand

• Rope, a couple hanks 25-30ft in length each

• A blanket to keep warm after tying

Water bottles will be offered free of charge. Loaner rope will be on hand, also available for purchase.

Emergency supplies will be on site in the form of safety shears and a first aid kit.

Photography will be allowed, we will have photo lights available. When taking photos please always make sure you have the affirmative consent of everybody in the frame.

The venue offers excellent drinks but there is no food on the menu. If you plan on eating you can grab dinner at one of the many nearby eateries then bring it inside, or order using a delivery app.
