Our Bonfire Rope Social is a relaxed open time and space dedicated to rope, practice, education & socialization and fun for everyone.
Rope Socials are designed with no set criteria or formal lesson plan. Single, partnered, beginner or advanced socials offer great opportunities to meet others, peer share, discuss, educate and learn from each other.

The paid parking on Dockweiler beach stops letting cars in at 10pm. Please plan on arriving well before 10pm, since there's usually a LONG line of cars on the way in. We recommend using Uber/Lyft if you'll be arriving after 830pm.
We'll be on the beach by the firepits that are located at the second parking lot, to the right after you enter the beach coming off Imperial Highway and Vista Del Mar. Uplifting psytrance, house and techno will be played on our in-house designed and tuned portable sound system. Red / green / blue laser effects will be projected onto the sand, this should make finding us easier when you're walking onto the beach from the parking lot. Look for us to the right of lifeguard tower 52 when you're facing the ocean.
Synthetic or cotton rope are recommended for this event as they can be washed. Unless you don't mind sand on your jute and hemp rope :]
We'll be firing up the bonfire BBQ and will offer burgers, hotdogs and water to our guests at no charge :] Other foods to put on the grill are welcome!

Fire wood if you have some to spare
Photography will be allowed, we should have a couple of battery powered photo lights available. When taking photos please always make sure you have the affirmative consent of everybody in the frame.
